more from boston: charles street

even though charles street is quite tiny, i have never seen so many antique shops in my life. and while i do like looking at antiques, it is no fun when they are too expensive. even if i am not going to buy anything, it’d be nice to at least have the option, right?

anyway, there were a few other cute shops that i checked out and thought i would mention here. first up is beacon hill chocolates. what a cute shop! along with a variety of chocolates and candies, they sell beautiful keepsake boxes for any occasion you think of. although they intend for you to use the boxes for candy purchased in the store, i think they could be used for gifts of any kind.

next up is black ink. i first went into this shop thinking it was just a card store, but discovered that they sell quite a variety of things, including items for your home, office, bath and other things you never thought you needed. also, it seems to be a haven for tea lovers since they had almost an entire wall of the store dedicated to all things tea. after checking out their website, i was sad to find out that there are hardly any of the tea products available, so i guess you will just have to visit the store to see. but i think i found something else i need. i’ve kind of been day dreaming about making my own jam, and how cute are these jars and the accompanying book??
